Loved the movie!!! If you love Star Trek, you will LOVE it too! Even my husband was glad he saw it, and he isn't a big Trek fan.

Better scenery, everyone is at the top of its game

The realism of the graphics is just unbelievable. Story is true for any century, power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. Nothing disappointing here, most of the time hollywood has to make someone incompetent to create drama, this fresh start has every foe smarter. Everyone is at the top of the game and just have to be more clever to defeat them. Whew thats a new one. Not having to say " why would you even do that" was a relief. Totally enjoyable, do miss just the control room shaking in the old Star Trek. A cameo appearance again is nice too.

Laughed, Jumped, Gazed at and applauded the Great job they did with casting and special effects! AMAZING in 3D !!!! Several times we were knocked back in our seats ans also Dazzled with some of the Awesome Action and Scenery shots throughout the entire movie. There were very little times that the 3D wasn't being used to its Max!!! Highly rate this one for both the "Treky" and the Newbie because of the way it was written and and the way it makes reference to a lot of the older cast and stories.. BRAVO!!!!! A "MUST SEE" for ALL ages !!! Two Thumbs UP !!!

Star Trek: Into the Darkness

This was fast paced from the moment the movie started, but what else would a trekkie expect? I was riveted to my chair laughing at times and wanting to scream at other times. The scene where Kirk reverses roles and ends up in the radiation chamber of the warp core was my favorite, because for the first time Spock showed the human side of his emotions. Something tells me this is not the last we'll see of the USS Enterprise. I can't wait for the next one!!! I give this 10 out of 10, a MUST GO for anyone who has ever been a trekkie.

I know it's sci-fi fantasy but how come when the artificial gravity fails the crew starts falling as the ship is plummeting toward earth? And damn Kirk had a looooong time to fix the energy system.
