What a ride from the moment you sit down the action never ends. This move kept me engaged, laughing, and wondering how they were gonna twist the story line next. Great movie, Action was awesome... 3D is a must.

Star Trek 2 - Into Darkness - I have to say that this was one of the better Star Trek films and a pretty good take on the second movie attempt with the original cast of William Shatner and the rest of the crew. Ricardo Maltaban played Kahn in the the second film called, "The Wrath of Khan", so that made this film special because I always considered that to be the best movie of the old crew. All in all, a great movie for sci-fi buffs. I do recommend it and give it 5 stars. I really like the new crew of the Enterprise. Hope to see more movies with them in the future.

Really liked the new Star Trek. Lots of action, edge of the seat stuff. Special effects, well, cgi has everyone on the same level now, but these were awesome. New villian is an a$$kicker. He also never blinks, definite sign of an evil guy. 95% original, but why, Mr. Abrams, did you do that 5% of not-so-original? You know what I'm talking about. And you have been doing so well. Not going to dwell on a negative when there is SO much positive. A true Trek fan will have no problem following this movie. Unlike Star Wars, which can be followed at any point, in any episode, from any year. Wars is for kids, Trek is for adults. So is this movie..... Loved it, go see it, then go see it again, just like I am about to do in 45 min....

I was worried that they would never get around to making a second film, but as soon as I saw the trailer I knew that they had done it again. Benedict Cumberbatch was a great villain, And Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto definitely held down their roles. I loved the small tributes to the old movies and tv show. This movie was also worth going to see in 3D unlike most films these days. I'd definitely go and see it again.

Terrific entertainment. There have been some real losers but this is NOT one of them. My boyfriend (we are in our mid fifties) is definitely NOT a Trekkie and even he said it was a great movie. Lots of action, plot twists, fun between our beloved characters, etc. I have not been to a 3D movie in so long that I was amazed and frankly distracted in the beginning. But after a while I got used to it and enjoyed it. I would have loved to have seen it in IMAX but I am Deaf but the closed captioning system does not work in the IMAX theaters! I am happy they have CC.
