The REAL first Star Trek Movie

Having seen the original release on opening day...I was thrilled and excited. As i sat and watched I was thinking to myself "This is what Star Trek was all about." and I thoroughly enjoyed it to no end. I also believe this was one of the first films to introduce "The teaser" at the end of the film. Jump ahead to 2013. I see that Cinetopia is running it on the big screen during their Summer Sci-Fi film festival and I thought it would be great to see Wrath on the big screen again. (This would make it my 3rd time on the big I saw it twice back when it first came out.) Not only did I enjoy it just as much as any new film...but with Cinetopia's awesome sound made it an even more memorable experience. Hats off to Mr Coltman for giving us such a fantastic place to go see movies. If you think IMAX is the best way to see need to go to one of the Cinetopia's. The Super HD digital beats IMAX theaters any day of the week.

Four and One Half Stars out of Five for Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khaaan! It could have been "The Wreck of Korn", but I'll have my molecules spread all over tarnation if they didn't pull it off and set the stage for all the "Even Numbered" Star Treks to come... that is, until Nemesis! Khan rules. See you in the next Reliant!
