Star Trek: The Next Generation is a known commodity, here given a technological bath that fits it even for theatre screens. The acting and the stories are mostly well-known. This one was the cliffhanger at the end of Season 3 and the beginning of Season 4, "Best of Both Worlds." The Borg arrives in near space and heads for Earth, capturing Jean-Luc Picard in the process. Including guest star Elizabeth Dennehy, the crew faces one of their ultimate tests. The two episodes have been edited into a seamless whole, punctuated as always by Captain's Log entries. While I might opt simply to buy both Season packages, this release makes one of the Enterprise's greatest adventures available as a satisfying whole. The theatrical experience was well worth the admission cost. Go!

I was SO disappointed! Not because of the episode (I didn’t even get to see it) but because of the “Regal Village Square Las Vegas” Movie Theater’s incompetence. We walked in to them showing an episode of De Vinci on STARZ, and at 7:30 (half hour after start time) they were playing with the Guide on the Direct TV which was hooked up to the screen! They finally get the system working at 7:45 and were “fast forwarding and rewinding” across the episode for nearly 10 minutes before they got to the beginning of the episode! By that time, I was over it. After the opening sequence, they PAUSED the show again to take a poll of everyone who wanted to go back and watch the “walk in” pictures and questions. I needed to work this morning, so we left. I was looking forward to this in a MAJOR way. SO DISAPOINTED!!!!!!

It was great to see a packed house for this event, and fun to see this show - which I grew up watching - on the big screen!

I couldn't resist if I wanted to....We had a great time and relived, again, the drama, excitement and intrigue of the BORG as Jean Luc was taken away from us not knowing whether we'd ever get him back. What a cliff hanger during the original series ! We saw it then and we couldn't resist to see it again last night at UA Town Center theatre. The crowd was excited and alive
and the place was packed. It was a great adventure on the big screen and watching the cast's comments as well as afterwards,, the outtakes, kept us all laughing and informed. I heard myself say "I didn't know that !"
We'll continue to attend any other Star Trek events held here ! Thanks FANDANGO, for a great date night. Oh, and the popcorn was fabulous !

I've seen this/these episode/s a couple hundred times at least (when it came out on TV/re-runs and when I purchased the series on VHS back in the 90s). They restored it from the original negatives and it made watching it like it was HD to begin with. I took my daughter who is 13 and she loved it, and was happy to see that there was a lot of parents who brought their children. Everyone had a great time. Besides the episode/s they had trivia, interviews with crew/cast, they showed a lot of stills from the series that showed the original and restored versions, the best part besides the episodes was the blooper reel.
