I couldn't resist if I wanted to....We had a great time and relived, again, the drama, excitement and intrigue of the BORG as Jean Luc was taken away from us not knowing whether we'd ever get him back. What a cliff hanger during the original series ! We saw it then and we couldn't resist to see it again last night at UA Town Center theatre. The crowd was excited and alive
and the place was packed. It was a great adventure on the big screen and watching the cast's comments as well as afterwards,, the outtakes, kept us all laughing and informed. I heard myself say "I didn't know that !"
We'll continue to attend any other Star Trek events held here ! Thanks FANDANGO, for a great date night. Oh, and the popcorn was fabulous !

This has to be, if not the best, one of the best Star Trek episodes ever! To be able to see it on the big screen was terrific. The crowd in the theater was a small one, but it was all Star Trek fans. Everyone knew the episode well, and the applause at the end was spontaneous. This, for a two hour, 20-some year old episode of a long gone television series.

I've seen this/these episode/s a couple hundred times at least (when it came out on TV/re-runs and when I purchased the series on VHS back in the 90s). They restored it from the original negatives and it made watching it like it was HD to begin with. I took my daughter who is 13 and she loved it, and was happy to see that there was a lot of parents who brought their children. Everyone had a great time. Besides the episode/s they had trivia, interviews with crew/cast, they showed a lot of stills from the series that showed the original and restored versions, the best part besides the episodes was the blooper reel.

I really enjoyed the movie presentation of the great NextGen cliffhanger/two-parter episode "The Best of Both Worlds". The theatre that showed it, AMC 14 Kent, WA, did a great job. The picture was vivid & sharp and the sound was clear & crisp.
I really enjoyed the making of documentary with the insightful commentary from those in front of the camera and behind the scenes. Since I've seen the episode numerous times it was not spoiler-filled. Had I not seen the episode before I might have preferred to have had the doc run after the feature.
The blooper reel run after the feature was fun and definitely had me leaving the theatre with a smile on my face.
The only thing that would have made the night better was for them to run all the previews for the new Star Trek Into Darkness movie coming out next month.
Live Long and Prosper!

It's as great as it/s always been. There will never ever be any thing better or even as good as STAR TREK, no matter what episode it is. I would like to see them do this for every episode of all the STAR TREK series. I would be there to see them all even though I have them all.
