Definitely not worth the exorbitant ticket price

I paid $12.50 a ticket to watch two television episodes that I've already seen a countless number of times? Sure, they're hi-def now, but the sound and special effects were in no way "movie-grade." A half hour of commercials for the BluRay release of season one was not what I expected to watch here! I just saw Spiderman in 3D and spent $12 for that ticket for crying out loud. Why not throw in some previews of the next Star Trek movie coming out next spring?! Now THAT would've been noteworthy.

ST: TNG is all about the story, the effects were second. This newly refreshed version not only looked great on the big screen, but helped to lessen the distraction of the dated CGI that the series originally used. The inter-episode segments shown were awesome and informative as well. I just kind of wish there were some form of give-aways for the event.

I loved being able to see my favorite tv show (I don't even want to call it a tv show because it is so much more than that) on the big screen! It warms my heart to know that there are people still out there who acknowledge the the intellect and creativity of Star Trek, and being able to celebrate it in an actual theater with other fans meant a lot. Plus, the interviews and special features made this worth the price of a movie ticket! This show is revolutionary, and its message can change the world. Thank you for putting on this event!!!

Trip Down Memory Lane

This was a fantastic tribute to Star Trek: TNG. The episodes were remastered very well and the special features were engaging. The best part, however, was being in a room filled with other fans of the show. Hearing everyone laugh and applaud and be so engaged along with me really made it a wonderful experience. If they do something like this again, I'm there!
