Spy Kids 4D: Younger kids liked it, adults thought it was OK.

My 7 and 8 years olds thought it was really good. I almost fell asleep at the beginning, but it became a little more interesting as it went on. The message was nice but it was pretty predictable. I wouldn't rush out to see it, but if you're taking the kids to a movie, they will probably enjoy it.

The movie was totally 4D! The graphics throughout the movie were 3D and there were plenty of scenes that took advantage of the 3D affect. There was also an aroma card that had 8 different scents, but I could only distinguish between three for four and they were not always accurate. For example, one scent was supposed to be bacon, but it smelled like flowers and candy. There were plenty of stinky diaper scenes, but none of the scents were so foul that it seemed real. The movie was uplifting and inspiring, had a great message. My four year old really enjoyed and and even laughed out loud a few times. It was mildly entertaining for this older kid at heart!

The 4D is a farse and does not work. The movie was okay but the 3D was even lacking..

This should of been a straight to DVD. My son liked the movie but he is nine and doesn't care about the dialogue. After watching this movie I swore if I heard the words tick, tock, clock, or time again I would of killed myself. Don't even rent this movie.
