MAGIC HUMBLE LOVEABLE My beginning with BRUCE was early 1980. Got Tickets for the show on my best friend (JUDI) birthday. We headed to the Spectrum (Philly), fell in love and have been to every concert on the east coast USA since. At one of the concerts I remarked to Judi, 'there are a lot of guys here'. This movie/concert helped me understand the draw. Bruce is telling their life story. I am so happy to have that perspective, it changes everything for me. I will be buying more BRUCE listening with different ears. As I listened to U2 after 9/11. I love BRUCE, he and E Street Band have sooo much fun and we become part of the fun. We go to BRUCE to have fun with him, sing with him, laugh, dance, we get it all

It was wonderful! Bruce communicates with everyone at every age. We took our 9 and 13 year olds and they enjoyed it, too! He is such a real person who understands the trials and tribulations of daily life.

Saw the July 22nd showing in Rochester NY. Being a fan, I could relate to what the other fans in the movie were expressing. Nice mix of ages and geopgraphies included. The clips of Bruce in concert were wonderful. I especially enjoyed the added footage after the credits.

Worth Seeing

Definitely not what I expected but lots of fun just the same. If you are there for music clips only, you will be disappointed until very late in the show. If you are there to get to know the band or its history, don't bother at all. But if you are there because you are a Springsteen fan who can relate to other Springsteen fans - and you want to see a mini concert at the end with cool "feel like you're there" audio effects - it is EXACTLY what you want.

A must for any Springsteen fan. Almost captures (because really, unless you've experienced Bruce live its hard to understand) the essence of the wonder and power of Bruce. And if you aren't a fan or don't know his music its worth your time as well.
