I was leery of a documentary-type show and frankly only went for the concert footage. I'm so glad I went! It was great! There were some very moving, and some very funny, stories, and it was great to see some history. Loved every minute of it!

If you're a Bruce fan its a great see. Lots of funny and amazing stories from fans and Bruce in some classic moments himself. Stay after the credits for some unbelievable footage from '12 Hyde Park show with Paul McCartney.

What he gives back to the fans, is like no other artist!!! He is the real deal!! Next Best Thing To Seeing Bruce Live in Concert

By peacebeach

The movie, Springsteen and I, was a true love-fest. It opens with his fans giving three words that sum up their feelings for their hero. Mine are: GOD BLESS BRUCE! I have actually lost track of how many times I've seen him in concert, starting in 1974. I felt as though I could have been one of his fans in the movie; I identified so completely with their devotion to him. There is no one like Bruce Springsteen, and seeing the movie proves it. His music speaks to people of all ages. I laughed and cried and sang and bopped along. How can you sit still when you hear a Springsteen song? There was applause and whooping, and of course, shouts of "Bruuuuce!" This was a theater in the suburbs of Philly, after all. It was the most fun I've ever had in a movie theater! I especially enjoyed the clips showing the young Bruce. I'm sure I wasn't the only woman in the theater whose heart was pounding just a little faster. It's a must-see for Springsteen fans. I'd love to see it again!

3 words... past, present, future

Great film... without spoiling the film, fans were asked for 3 words to describe Bruce and his music. My three are in the subject line. Awesome vintage footage and great fan interaction from the past. Nice job all the way up to the present. Makes me excited for the future. Make sure you stay for the end, and then for the epilogue after the end ;)
