The movie, Springsteen and I, was a true love-fest. It opens with his fans giving three words that sum up their feelings for their hero. Mine are: GOD BLESS BRUCE! I have actually lost track of how many times I've seen him in concert, starting in 1974. I felt as though I could have been one of his fans in the movie; I identified so completely with their devotion to him. There is no one like Bruce Springsteen, and seeing the movie proves it. His music speaks to people of all ages. I laughed and cried and sang and bopped along. How can you sit still when you hear a Springsteen song? There was applause and whooping, and of course, shouts of "Bruuuuce!" This was a theater in the suburbs of Philly, after all. It was the most fun I've ever had in a movie theater! I especially enjoyed the clips showing the young Bruce. I'm sure I wasn't the only woman in the theater whose heart was pounding just a little faster. It's a must-see for Springsteen fans. I'd love to see it again!

I am so glad we went to see it. My husband and I, HUGE Bruce fans that we are thoroughly enjoyed this movie. If I could have, I would have gotten up out of my seat and danced like I usually do at the concerts! So happy I went. We just LOVE Bruce. And the stories were very heart warming. You laugh, you cry, you definitely want to see it if you are a Bruce fan. And if you're not, you will be by the time the movie is over!

I thought the movie would be a bit self-serving of Bruce but I couldn't have been more wrong. This movie was lighthearted, funny and warm with an introduction to Bruce Loyalty 101. The producers of this movie must have worked very hard in accumulating the massive number of responses to the Bruce questionnaire put to the Bruce fans. I loved the intertwining of the fan's stories with actual film/video of their stories. And of course, the ending was really cool as these truly loyal and loving fans come to meet their favorite musician.
I would highly recommend this movie to any Bruce fan, hard-core or marginal. My wife and I sat in a theater with other Bruce fans and sang along with the songs and clapped and gave a standing ovation at the end.

This is a very good documentary for hard core Springsteen fans. It is funny at times, and touching at others. If you are not a hard core fan, you will dislike it, but otherwise, I would suggest you watching it. It is short, though.

I attended a showing of Springsteen and i basically, an ode to Bruce told through fan-submitted videos, concert-footage and interviews. The fan stories of first concerts, chance meetings and tales of the way Bruces music has affected their lives.
Funny, sweet, touching...those are my 3 words. I feel compelled to tell you all not to leave when the credits begin to roll or you'll miss the last 40 minutes. Even the casual Springsteen fan needs to see this.
