It was wonderful! Bruce communicates with everyone at every age. We took our 9 and 13 year olds and they enjoyed it, too! He is such a real person who understands the trials and tribulations of daily life.

The movie wasn't exactly what I expected. I kind of thought it would be a chronological story of his career, but it was good. Anything that Bruce does or is in is terrific. I loved the piece after the movie - the footage from his 2012 London show. Bruce Springsteen puts on the best concert out of any band I have ever seen. There isn't an opening band and he has so much energy. Bruce connects with his fans and he is down to earth. He doesn't try to be something he isn't. You can see the deep friendship he has with his band members and you feel proud to be from small town USA after hearing his songs.

Springsteen and I rocked!!!.
I'm a huge fan or so I thought I was until I met these fans, there stories were from the heart. The way Bruce affected their lives made me want more and now I will locate all the Bruce music I don't own and add it to my daily playlist.
I want to be them and live my life on the hopes and dreams Bruce has shown us all.
I cried at least half a dozen times, danced in my chair and clapped as if I was at a live concert.
I cried most when dear sweet Clarence was on stage, I miss him, RIP...
Great job, can't wait for it on DVD so I can watch it many times over again. My 30 year old daughter is also a fan and now lives in Australia can't wait to send her the DVD.

My beginning with BRUCE was early 1980. Got Tickets for the show on my best friend (JUDI) birthday. We headed to the Spectrum (Philly), fell in love and have been to every concert on the east coast USA since.
At one of the concerts I remarked to Judi, 'there are a lot of guys here'. This movie/concert helped me understand the draw. Bruce is telling their life story. I am so happy to have that perspective, it changes everything for me. I will be buying more BRUCE listening with different ears.
As I listened to U2 after 9/11.
I love BRUCE, he and E Street Band have sooo much fun and we become part of the fun.
We go to BRUCE to have fun with him, sing with him, laugh, dance, we get it all

The documentary, "Springsteen and I" is an extremely entertaining film that will be enjoyed by everyone. Consisting of testimonials from fans of Bruce who have either had an encounter with the man or are just devoted fans of him and his music, the movie is also sprinkled with performance segments from the early days right up to the present. What struck me most about the film was how funny it was, from the way people described their devotion, to their actual experiences with "The Boss". What was also cool was someone telling their story, and then showing the actual footage to back it up.
My only criticism would be the director's ignorance of New Jersey, Springsteen's home state to which he has such a strong connection to. There is a special bond between Jersey's natives and Springsteen, so showing a couple of testimonials covering that would have completed the picture.
From hilarious to heartfelt, "Springsteen and I" is one of the best music docs I've seen. Rock on, Bruce!
