From the fact that the religious girl's name was "Faith" to the predictable, over-dramatized spring break attitudes of the co-eds in repeated scenes, this movie was filth. Vanessa Hudgens' acting was atrocious - her acting was solely sexual advances and flirting with Ashley Benson. There was no plot to this film, and the hand held camera just about gave me motion sickness. I really expected more from this film, seeing as critics like it and it did well in film festivals, but it was by far one of the worst I've seen in a long time.

Going in I thought this was a typical college comedy about everyone getting drunk & doing stupid sh** but it but it had more of a serious tone added into the mix. James Franco wasn't really funny but entertaining to watch, he was actually my favorite thing about the movie, if you're bored & need something to watch I think this is worth seeing

This movie was not what i expected it to be. It totally took a turn in a different direction but was still funny with some serious moments. Way too much nudity, but i guess that is what happens on Spring break. Funny to see James Franco out of character as well as Vanessa Hudgens.

Spring Breakers is a unique film to come to theaters that is not an average teen movie to say the least. If your intentions are to see a funny teenage movie about hot girls on spring break DO NOT see this movie.
Spring Breakers exposes the viewer to all senses and even shames their eyes. Although visually beautiful, your stomach will feel as though you are watching a real life horror movie. There are scenes that make the viewer think "is every one watching this? should I be closing my eyes right now?"
Korine executed this movie beautifully balancing an uneasy feeling between young naive girls and the illusion of a "bad ass" lifestyle.
If you have seen Harmony Korine's other movies prepare to be entranced, if you have not, just keep an open mind.
