This is a must see! By far the absolute best movie I have seen in a long time. James Franco's performance is Oscar worthy. If you loved the movie Havoc, and I mean who didn't, you're in for a treat. How can a movie be awesome AND horrible...watch to find out!

James Franco and Selena Gomez give stellar performances. The script could be tighter and some logic didn't jive. But it was a good script for the most part. Very good directing and editing. Great performances from all of the main cast. I liked it a lot and hope it becomes a classic! I see glimpses of Vanessa Hudgens winning an Oscar at some future point of her career.
There were people in the audience where I saw it in Santa Monica, California from all age groups, all genders, class and races! I think this movie is going to make a lot of money!!!!

There's no denying that Spring Breakers exploits the worst possible scenario for a group of no-so-innocent college girls. There's plenty of nudity and partying (read sex, drugs, and drinking games) from start to finish; however, there's also the type of mayhem that involves a hilarious "gangster" played by James Franco and plenty of guns, money and drugs. It's also worth mentioning that this movie doesn't have a conventional story. It's mostly storytelling in a daze, which works well for the most part -- it's just not the straightforward storytelling that most audiences are used it. SPRING BREAK FOREVER!

What the f was the point!. Just dumb bitches partying and getting away with fantasy rap video crime laced through it. The three chix didnt present well either. Alot of mindless **** and posing nothingness to fall asleep to. Waste of $23.

As a confronting, out-on-the-edge film-maker, Harmony Korine got strong reactions from the narrow audience of art house film watchers he courted in his early career. "Spring Breakers" is aimed at the mainstream (I think) but also seems designed to provoke strong reactions. The story felt to me like an allegory for an America that is stuck in a type of collective adolescence where the love of sex, guns and consumerism dominate all other values. People who can't stand to see America criticized, or even reflected negatively in the most oblique fashion, will hate this film. I liked it a lot. James Franco's performance is fantastic. An original and eye-catching mixture of film and storytelling approaches taken from different genres of film really worked for me, like a genius combination of two ingredients by great chef. My only issue with this film was the ending, which felt like a studio executive had imposed it to create more of an upbeat resolution to the story.
