if you want to watch 95 minutes of boobs and asses your are better off watching online porn. this movie had no plot and no depth. As a 17 year old, i can say this was the worst movie i have ever seen! So unrealistic and awful acting throughout the entire movie. When it was over everyone in the theatre was commenting about how awful it was. Three couples walked out in the middle of the movie. After seeing this movie i went straight on fandango and made an account just so i can explain to people how terrible this movie was. Was not worth all the hype.

I'll start off saying that the cinematography in this film was stellar. It was amazing, and eye-catching, and unique. I just LOVED it.
Yes, there was tons of partying in this film, but it had a lot of deeper content. If you were watching the film correctly, you could easily see the deeper psychological context, which was displayed mostly by the build up and repetition of sound. The greatest performance was James Franco, of course, who never faltered-- I admit, I was waiting to see a note of his true self. But Franco stuck to it, and performed brilliantly. Vanessa Hudgens was very intense, and stuck to her character as well, and I hope to see more of this work from her in the future. Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine gave very good performances too. But Selena Gomez was truly lacking, and displayed her little experience in the acting field. I, nor my friend. could get a grip on what she was trying to do with her character. It was the only bad aspect of the film.

first, let me say i have no idea where people are getting the notion that this is even partly a comedy; i can't think of a single humorous moment in the entire film. the movie is an artistic, dreamlike, sometimes abstract drama. it's beautiful, in both simplistic, topless-girls-bouncing-around-in-the-sun ways, and in more complex, darker, grittier ways. it's sometimes impressionistic and not very literally plausible, and sometimes kind of harshly realistic. it doesn't spell everything out for you - it leaves it to you to fill in some blanks however you choose. if you don't want that responsibility, you may not enjoy this movie. but if you like movies that leave some things for you to decide, that sort of let you help make them in your mind, you might enjoy Spring Breakers.(paragraph break here)
Fandango's rating system is stupid: nobody can say whether you should or should not go. all they can say is whether they liked it and why. whether or not you should go is for you to decide

If you want to waste 2 hours of your life than this is the movie for you. There is no plot and the acting is terrible. The movie kept repeating previous footage to the point where it was just annoying. I couldn't be paid to see this movie again.

As a confronting, out-on-the-edge film-maker, Harmony Korine got strong reactions from the narrow audience of art house film watchers he courted in his early career. "Spring Breakers" is aimed at the mainstream (I think) but also seems designed to provoke strong reactions. The story felt to me like an allegory for an America that is stuck in a type of collective adolescence where the love of sex, guns and consumerism dominate all other values. People who can't stand to see America criticized, or even reflected negatively in the most oblique fashion, will hate this film. I liked it a lot. James Franco's performance is fantastic. An original and eye-catching mixture of film and storytelling approaches taken from different genres of film really worked for me, like a genius combination of two ingredients by great chef. My only issue with this film was the ending, which felt like a studio executive had imposed it to create more of an upbeat resolution to the story.
