I just got home from seeing "SPRING BREAKERS" at Edwards Theater. Spring Breakers was exactly what i thought it would be. It called Spring Breakers for a reason. Defiantly a whole lot of parties, sex & drugs. The whole stereotype of what Spring Break is. A group of friends who just wanted to have fun & one thing led to another. (James Franco) was Hilarious in this movie, Everyone was laughing in the theater room. Good Comedy mixed into it. ( SELENA GOMEZ ) played a character thats really true to her Real self. Real Conservative & having good conscience. I was expecting her to be More involved the whole movie! But her Role was well played.
To everyone that disliked the movie, Come On Now! It was all expected. I STILL recommend people to see it for themselves before believing what others say!
Its defiantly Entertaining !
Go See It!

While I was watching this movie I could feel a question mark slowly form in my brain. Im not really sure how to feel about it but I figured id give it a go anyway. Seeing former disney girls walk around in bikinis for the whole film was a hoot. James franco's performance was flawless though equally disturbing. As I began I will end this by saying im not really sure how to feel about other than it was interesting.

A take on today's current too-much down-to-earth and unambitious materialistic youth, fully living the American Dream. - 5/10

There's no denying that Spring Breakers exploits the worst possible scenario for a group of no-so-innocent college girls. There's plenty of nudity and partying (read sex, drugs, and drinking games) from start to finish; however, there's also the type of mayhem that involves a hilarious "gangster" played by James Franco and plenty of guns, money and drugs. It's also worth mentioning that this movie doesn't have a conventional story. It's mostly storytelling in a daze, which works well for the most part -- it's just not the straightforward storytelling that most audiences are used it. SPRING BREAK FOREVER!

Yes horrifying and disturbing- the excess is the point.. James Franco - as always - worth the price of the admission- the direction and cinematography were interesting- some great mosaic shots and jump cuts- OK- not for the kiddies- for the film afficianados only .... the primary relationship is clearly between the ******* couple.. how rare is that to begin with???...So OK haters- I get it.. you don't want your Disney princesses to be antiheroes.. but there is clearly a moral voice in the film.. the fact that it is nuanced and subtle I actually prefer.. so not meant for everyone.. and the fact that there are primary ,secondary and tertiary layers to the film means that some viewers will respond to it on the purely manifest level (all the discussions of too much sex and violence etc) and then the complex latent level- I applaud the actresses for taking a risk- but as with any art- the masses are not really going to get it - or even supposed to get it...pack your knives and go-
