This movie is very inspirational and interesting. Not only was it fun to see and hear the stories of all types of marathon runners, but watching the movie with a crowd of runners added so much to the experience. It was very exciting to watch a movie only about Chicago! It's definitely a must-see for runners, friends of runners, or anyone who is thinking about putting on their first pair of running shoes.

Spirit of the Marathon

A must see for someone thinking of running a marathon/half marathon, or someone who has loved ones who are runners. It provides some insight on what it takes to prepare for a marathon and the commitment it involves. It also may help non-runners understand why we (runners) put ourselves through what most people may consider crazy. I noticed most people went in groups or at least with someone else. I went by myself and still felt like I was part of a group. You could tell most of audience identified with charateristics and emotions of the runners in the film. It is an inspirational film and definitley helped motivate me to continue with the sport.

Great movie. It was very interesting and motivating even for non-runners. It got me excited about my next event. It was also interesting to see other runners lives and how they manage to fit it all in.
