A must see for runners or anyone who appreciates the challenge of the marathon. The film focuses on several runners with diverse backgrounds. Their stories are interwoven with scenes of them running the race through the magical streets of Rome. Inspiring!

Loved it, perhaps even more so than the original, although it may be because I have watched the original so many times. I would hope that if you ever do a spirit of the marathon III that one of your participants would be an older woman (60's, 70's). As an older female runner and medical provider, I know how inspiring it is to see other individuals preparing for a running event-of any distance. There is a real need to encourage the older female population to get out and get moving and take responsibility for their health. Thanks for a great production

Arrive early--see the marathon trivia. Then sit back and enjoy an extraordinary and insight into several lives of runners of all abilities and social strata. Beautifully filmed and scored from beginning to end. You will smile, laugh, chuckle, nod your head, and shed some tears--most of all you'll relate to many of the stories told and the commonalities of marathon running. It will re-energize you and make you feel proud to part of the running community. Stay for the mini-doc afterwards--the charitable aspect of running will tug at your core. Five very brilliant stars for this masterpiece.
