Very disappointing. Too little on events in his life. Too much on just the cruxification and too little on the 40 days after. Weak actors in most roles. Extremely disappointing.

Take the family. Not as extreme in gore as" The Passion" was but still heartbreaking and inspiring. The lead plays a very charismatic Jesus, as he should. The special effects were OK, but the acting and music were really good.

I absolutely love the film ! The acting, directing and Cinematography blew my mind and kept me at the edge of my seat . What i love most about the movie was the fact this kept the graphic appropriate for all viewers !!!I am not a big fan of biblical movies but this movie was worth ever penny . I am hard person to please when it comes to film ! My review is truly coming from a nonbias stand point. Its a great movie but it really and truly is a Amazing movie . It honestly changed my life. God is really and truly going great things and this is one of his blessing you will miss if you don't go and see it . And those who want to know who Jesus is and more about the bible you really need to see this movie to get a better understanding . The setting and Actors and Actress played the roles to the T! This is not some cheese movie they really played attention to the little details MUST GO !!!!

Remind yourself of the greatest story and sacrifice ever

The movie was visually very good. I do think the story did not flow as evenly as it could have. Then ending and violence was tough to watch, especially for followers. I brought a couple of 10 and 11 years olds, they cried at the persecution that was suffered, but all said they were glad to know the real story of what happened. So go!

Keeping in the tradition that Marc and Roma showed with "The Bible" series, this movie expanded on scenes that were shot and seen at there. The location of the movie was amazing, and the script was well written. There were a few lines through out that you won't find in the bible, but they helped keep the scene moving along and one could imagine those lines being stated at the times that they occurred, but it really stayed pretty true to the bible and true to research into the lives at the time. I am encouraging my friends and family to see this on the big screen while they can, well worth the time and money.
