This movie has a good story line that tugs at your heartstrings and the kid actors are pretty good too. Ray Liotta and Christopher Lloyd are great in their supporting roles. There is nothing objectionable in this movie so it's safe to take the kids, although my youngest daughter was a bit traumatized by a scene in the end (I won't spoil it for you). My oldest daughter who is 9 even understood the point of the movie, so you can count on a good moral too. I wish Hollywood did more wholesome movies like this.

How rarely film worth seeing comes, right? This is something refreshingly true, and at the same time refreshingly outside the stale truisms of Hollywood schlock and formula.
