Snitch was not what I expected, it is a good story.

We went to watch Snitch, not really knowing what to expect because of the half and half reviews. We were pleasantly surprised, this was not a cheesy, action flick. It was instead a good story, inspired by true events, and it was well executed. It focuses on the players, characters, and the story which came across realistic and true. It's worth a watch.

Simply stated...GO SEE IT. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was awesome. I loved the storyline. I'm not a parent but I know that I know my parents would go to the ends of the earth for me. Parents take your teenagers to see it.

The review you can bank on

What you do is buy this movie and show it to your son every 30 days. When he just cant watch it another time, show him just the 1st 20 mins every 30 days. When he is 16 show him and all his friends the movie every Friday night and provide pizza. The movie was perfect and meant something. If your a teenager and your looking for the 'Rock' to kick some Candy A##, this is the wrong movie. He is a naive father just trying to help his son. Really good movie, i am going to take my son that is 6 to see this. I dont think i could make him see how much trouble he could get in from a stupid decision. This movie drives it home. If you cry a lot, you will cry

I enjoyed Snitch. I was thoroughly entertained from start to finish. Dwayne Johnson carries his own as a leading man in this action movie. Beautiful Susan Sarandon lights up the screen every time she appears. Barry Pepper plays a bearded undercover DEA agent. Jon Bernthal is great as Daniel (Cruiser) an ex-con working for the "Snitch", enlisted to introduce him to the drug runners the government needs to bring down in order to make a deal for a lighter sentence for the trucking operation owner's son, who gets caught holding the bag of his so-called friend's drugs. Benjamin Bratt even has a cameo as the drug cartel leader. Reminds one of the good action movies from the 70's, like White Line Fever.

I went to this movie expecting your typical dwayne the rock johnson movie but got a little more than I expected. I have to agree with some of the other reviews. At first I was wow'd with the story and the rock being able to give his character some emotional depth BUUUUT the last 20 mins of the film which should be the good part kinda put me back on the fence. The last 20 was like a made for TV action film. I would say even though the ending is questionable you'll still feel ok spending your money to go see this film.
