    awesome

I loved this film. It's totally suspenseful with a very compelling and original story. This is a world that we could never have known out of Alex Rivera's imagination, and yet there are elements that are all too familiar to us, like a wall on the Mexican border, a border guard that shoots down immigrants, and drones, controlled remotely by impartial military guys who take out innocent families as part of their daily routine.

The most amazing thing for me as a filmmaker is Rivera's ability to pull off some complex special effects so well and on so low of a budget. The end credits are also very innovation. Stay for them.

    An impressive vision

Setting is a world where the USA has closed its borders. Through technology, all the work is done without the workers constructing our buildings, picking our fruit, operating or manning our planes. Guest workers work through internet connections via nodes on their bodies and far from the USA.
The characters are simple in the beginning. Soon a strange and complex relationship is set in motion between the main characters. Eventually a chain of events is set in motion that will connect the main characters, and change their lives - maybe even change the world - forever.
One can tell on the lack of funds thought out the movie but the big ideas makeup for the lack of funds. The story is lacking, again probably due to a lack of funds. I like this film because of the impressive vision.
