Skyfall is a terrible movie... It's contradictory, plodding, makes no sense, claustrophobic, the musical score is as "inspired" as a tv dinner, and most of all it is LONG AND BORING!

I really looked forward to this movie. It was not as interesting or exciting as the three or four Bond movies before it. I realized this is because it is a transition film. They put the inept female agent behind a desk. They portrayed the female M who didn't believe in Bond and made a decision that weakened him physically as inept and a poor shot. Also she made him cry which makes him weak emotionally. Then he became just another guy who promised a victim of human trafficking help, but got her injured and then killed in the end. After this he says her death is just a "waste of good scotch". The "sexist, misogynistic dinosaur" is back. He's an unpleasant fellow and a bore. He's the reason I could never watch more than half an hour of a Sean Connery or Roger Moore Bond film without falling asleep. RIP Bond. You really did die in the beginning of the film. On a positive note, I am very grateful this was a free movie ticket and I didn't spend any money to see this.

More so than The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises, Skyfall was THE film I wanted to see this year.
Given the talent in front of and behind the camera, my expectations were high. The film met all of them! Craig is magnetic as Bond and displays the wit, charm and emotion that was absent from Quantum of Solace.
Harris and Marhloe are great as Bond girls but the true female at the center of the action is Dame Judi Dench as M. She's the woman that Bond must focus all his energies on.
I can't say enough about Bardem as Silva. He doesn't get much screen time but while he's there, you can't take your eyes off him. He's a man on a mission and seems to be one step ahead of British Intelligence.
The action is great, the locales are used to great use (the Shanghai scenes are a must) and I can't say enough about the climax. It's totally "un-Bond" but it works!
Even if you aren't a fan of the series, Skyfall is thoroughly entertaining. Go see it.

The graphics were spectacular. Mind-blowing sequences throughout the movie. However, I would have liked James Bond was more than a superhero, fighting machine. I think the film could have used some romance and better development of the characters.

In the most anticipated sequal of the James Bond franchise, Daniel Craig once again reprises his role as the secret agent forced out of early retirement to battle with a pschotic henchman hell bent on destroying MI6, the central intelligence agency of England. After suffering a near fatal gunshot wound by a fellow agent, James Bond delves into the realm of secrecy and seduction through exotic locations that span the globe. His character later meets his adversary, a rogue agent formerly a member of MI6 seeking vengeance after an act of betrayal leaves him physically scarred and mentally deranged. For die hard fans of the cult classic, this film will definitely provide an adrenaline rush in terms of high risk stunts, heart pumping fight sequences, and the occasional intimate segments.
