Skyfall is a terrible movie... It's contradictory, plodding, makes no sense, claustrophobic, the musical score is as "inspired" as a tv dinner, and most of all it is LONG AND BORING!

Deeply disappointing

Let me begin by saying that I've pretty much enjoyed every Bond movie I've ever seen. Skyfall is a complete stinker. It's a campy montage of Bond movies past. Weak female characters (i.e., none of them can shoot well; none of them are mysterious/intriguing; each one's contribution to the "plot" is their weakness/failures/etc.). The plot was ridiculous...I'm all for the suspension of disbelief when it comes to Bond movies, but this was just beyond absurd. Flat performance by Daniel Craig. Literally, the best part of the movie was Adele's "Skyfall" during the opening credits. Even though this will undoubtedly be a box-office smash, this is easily the worst, most forgettable Bond movie I've ever seen. Don't go. It will just make you angry.

Surprising! A Near Classic for Craig

More so than The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises, Skyfall was THE film I wanted to see this year. Given the talent in front of and behind the camera, my expectations were high. The film met all of them! Craig is magnetic as Bond and displays the wit, charm and emotion that was absent from Quantum of Solace. Harris and Marhloe are great as Bond girls but the true female at the center of the action is Dame Judi Dench as M. She's the woman that Bond must focus all his energies on. I can't say enough about Bardem as Silva. He doesn't get much screen time but while he's there, you can't take your eyes off him. He's a man on a mission and seems to be one step ahead of British Intelligence. The action is great, the locales are used to great use (the Shanghai scenes are a must) and I can't say enough about the climax. It's totally "un-Bond" but it works! Even if you aren't a fan of the series, Skyfall is thoroughly entertaining. Go see it.

In the most anticipated sequal of the James Bond franchise, Daniel Craig once again reprises his role as the secret agent forced out of early retirement to battle with a pschotic henchman hell bent on destroying MI6, the central intelligence agency of England. After suffering a near fatal gunshot wound by a fellow agent, James Bond delves into the realm of secrecy and seduction through exotic locations that span the globe. His character later meets his adversary, a rogue agent formerly a member of MI6 seeking vengeance after an act of betrayal leaves him physically scarred and mentally deranged. For die hard fans of the cult classic, this film will definitely provide an adrenaline rush in terms of high risk stunts, heart pumping fight sequences, and the occasional intimate segments.

Great movie. Action scenes could've been better, but other than that, an awesome movie. Acting, directing and plot were really good. A Must Go. I don't think this would be a spoiler, but get ready for one of the best opening credits :)
