Let me begin by saying that I've pretty much enjoyed every Bond movie I've ever seen.
Skyfall is a complete stinker. It's a campy montage of Bond movies past. Weak female characters (i.e., none of them can shoot well; none of them are mysterious/intriguing; each one's contribution to the "plot" is their weakness/failures/etc.).
The plot was ridiculous...I'm all for the suspension of disbelief when it comes to Bond movies, but this was just beyond absurd. Flat performance by Daniel Craig. Literally, the best part of the movie was Adele's "Skyfall" during the opening credits. Even though this will undoubtedly be a box-office smash, this is easily the worst, most forgettable Bond movie I've ever seen.
Don't go. It will just make you angry.

Went to this Movie today and as compared to the other BOND Movies, this is among the worst. This James Bond is too old, Daniel Craig SUCKS, never did like him. Bring back Pierce Bronson.
No gadgets except for a 9mm pistol that is hand encrypted and a 1" Transmitting GPS Detector. Pathetic by BOND Standards.
There were 3 chase scenes and a crazy ex-agent gone irrate at M that could have been a bit more dramatic. He was a gay vilan. I dont know, Im not going to buy the Video thats for sure.
Anyway, if there is another flick premiering, go see the other movie.
The franchise is out of their freaking minds, just heard on Jimmy Kimmel, that Daniel has signed on for 3 more.
BTW, this premier was crowded and they showed their verbal disapprovement as well.
My true opinion, this BOND Sucks, too old and should not take off his shirt, he's too dame old for any naked love scenes "Please spare us", do some freaking editing man.

I've just viewed Skyfall and found it to be a great action movie. This movie is not a James Bond movie with it's classic themes, look or feel. Having grown up on the original Bond, this Bond does not elicit the same sense of earlier Bond's. Where are the Bond girls, the great gadgets, cars and good guy vs bad guy parts? This handoff to the next generation is for me a dismal failure. I am unlikely to see another Bond movie at the movies. Perhaps this franchise should be put to sleep or renamed for the next generation.

I have high expectations of Bond, especially since rebooting the franchise with Daniel Craig. Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace both delivered powerful Bond presence. Skyfall should be renamed SkyFAIL. It is solemn, morose, lacks depth in plot, and is heavily plot driven with little action. So heavy plot with a lacking plot makes for a strange experience. I just couldn't quite seem to figure out how this fit in with the serial of the new reboot. It seemed to stand alone and have no purpose. It's the having no purpose part I did not like, other than the fact it transitions us to a new MI6. A New M. A New Q. Aside Javier Bardem's brilliant performance, at its core the film still misses its shot somewhere. It simply fails to deliver powerful Bond presence. Let's hope the new franchise does not continue forward like this. We need another Bond film very soon to make up for this loss.

I really looked forward to this movie. It was not as interesting or exciting as the three or four Bond movies before it. I realized this is because it is a transition film. They put the inept female agent behind a desk. They portrayed the female M who didn't believe in Bond and made a decision that weakened him physically as inept and a poor shot. Also she made him cry which makes him weak emotionally. Then he became just another guy who promised a victim of human trafficking help, but got her injured and then killed in the end. After this he says her death is just a "waste of good scotch". The "sexist, misogynistic dinosaur" is back. He's an unpleasant fellow and a bore. He's the reason I could never watch more than half an hour of a Sean Connery or Roger Moore Bond film without falling asleep. RIP Bond. You really did die in the beginning of the film. On a positive note, I am very grateful this was a free movie ticket and I didn't spend any money to see this.
