Easily the most "realistic" of all the Bond movies. Lots of action and seduction, sure, but we see more of Bond's inner conflict and personal struggle as well. The plot is plausible and the outcomes felt real and logical. Enjoyable on many levels.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved the movie, and you've got to see it on IMAX! It's the best! Just go see it! It's not for small kids & tweens, but it was great!

The film, "Skyfall", of course, was brilliant. The IMAX experience, not so much. What is IMAX, but a gigantic screen where they have shoved the audience right up against it. I can not see picture from the front, and they shouldn't even be allowed to sell tickets that close. My experience was horrible. I left with a headache and a bad mood. I want the $60-something I spent, to show my friends a good time, back. I'll wait and catch it again at the crappy $1 movies theatre, and sneak in some good wine.

As with Connery's "Goldfinger," and Moore's "The Spy Who Loved Me," Daniel Craig smashes one in a very big and British way in Skyfall! The producers, Eon Productions, who are celebrating 50 years of giving us England's arguably "greatest contribution to Western civilization besides afternoon tea" (Hugo Drax in "Moonraker"), have stated that this film does not carry on the Quantum storyline from the previous 2 films, and, just as "Goldfinger" and "Spy" also did, accomplished its mission with ripping success. The film is a winner on many fronts: enough traditional Bond tie-ins to keep baby boomer like me happy, enough action to keep the Ciemark goers from boredom, but most importantly, the film is so well acted by a brilliantly casted team . Great writing, action, and realistic effects make for a very entertaining outing.
Oh, and there is that Aston Martin DB5, this time of correct RHD specification (I was one of those malcontents with the LHD car in "Casino Royale." GO SEE!
