Worth every nickel. IMAX – worth the additional cost.
The opening credits were really unique and I really liked them. Action scenes were wicked - made me squirm in my seat. Characters were excellent and well developed – villains and heroes. Even the story - the plot - was good; probably the best story of the series. I can’t wait for the next story to arrive.
There was a preview for Hansel and Gretel that was very gory - not for little kids (or really anyone for that matter). There were a couple of curse-words (f-bomb makes its first series appearance), but nothing gratuitous. At nearly 2:30:00, it is on the edge of long – so if you’re a frequent visitor to the restroom, you may want to skip the large soda or water.
I may go see it again - after Lincoln, of course.

My wife and I liked the movie very much; rated it an A. Being senior citizens, we have probably seen all 23 of the Bond movies, and Skyfall ranks up there at the very top. Daniel Craig seems now very comfortable in his role as 007. Judy Dench was superb as usual. The bad guy was wonderfully evil. It's a great story and definitely worth seeing in IMAX. I don't think some scenes are appropriate for kids younger than teenagers. One younger boy seemed to clutch his older brother often during intense moments. Bringing back elements of some of the past Bond movies was fun, and the homoerotic scene was a bit of a shock, although well done. The Broccoli family should be very proud of this latest attempt to keep the Bond genre alive and well as it enters its second half century. Bravo!

SKYFALL was good but not 4 stars, I give it 3 stars, go see it by all means but no need to rush, see it in IMAX.
Skyfall has been deemed by many to be the "best Bond yet." But not so fast. Although this twenty-third film in the Bond series is a very good movie, let's not get carried away. This is Daniel Craig's third Bond film. He hit a high with Casino Royale but was a letdown in Quantum of Solace. It seems the makers of these movies are still trying to decide exactly who Craig's James Bond is.
In the end it all comes down to how easily you accept Craig as Bond and how much you appreciate his interpretation of the role as defined by director Sam Mendes. This may be his best Bond film yet but you anticipate the best is yet to be.

Movie was awesome! It started with a bang and was non-stop action. Several nods to classic Bond movies. It's a must see for any Bond fan!!

How is this movie content/parental concern-wise? It deserved the PG-13 rating it received. Going into Skyfall I was a bit nervous about all the sex scenes and opening music sequence that Bond movies always have. The sex scenes were basically what you see in the trailers with just a few more seconds of footage. The opening musical credit sequence also was not that bad, you definitely don't see as much as in other Bond movies. There were a few outlines of obviously naked women, but they were brief and not that detailed.
As Far as violence is concerned, it was PG-13 spy violence with lots of gunshots and punching and explosions etc. Nothing too graphic here. (No naked torture scenes like in Casino Royale).
And there was one "F-word" which was actually not that clearly uttered. Other than that, the rest of the swearing was far below normal PG-13 par.
Thanks for reading, now go enjoy another awesome Bond movie!
