    Better than I thought

    I am normally averse to both Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawerence so it was with some hesitation that I saw "Silver Linings Playbook" and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Bradley Cooper was able to play something other than Phil from the "Hangover" convincingly, and Jennifer Lawerence shined as the young widow. Yes, some of the plot points felt forced, but David O. Russells adept direction made it a fun romantic comedy.

    Not a "feel-good" movie, but great overall!

    We went to see this for our 17th wedding anniversary. That decision was based on the "must go" ratings here at Fandango and everywhere else. While a spot-on recommendation, this was a difficult movie to watch - particularly if you've ever experienced dealing with mental illness in your family or circle of friends. Very well-written and well-acted, which made the "suspension of disbelief" quite uncomfortable. A "laugh-so-you-don't-cry" movie.

    not a chick flick

    This was my favorite movie so far this Year. I personally love chick flicks and it was the actors that made me want to go. I would have to say that this is not a chick flick it is so much more and so much better. the characters are all screwed up in their own way and that is what it makes it so very interesting to watch.
