This movie is action packed from the beginning and throughout the movie. Of course the ever present Squirrel trying to catch his beloved acorn is a side tease throughout the movie. I especially liked the part where he pulls the plug and the Squirrel version of Atlantis Paradis sinks underneath the sea.
This movie is a tale of love and true committment between family and friends. It shows what true friends are like and those who just want to use you. In between there is a nice mixture of danger and goofiness, illogical and logical actions, and many little surprises along the way.
It shows that true love cannot separate but leads to a closer bond than just being favored for a moment.
I saw it in 3-D and it was worth every minute with color and great cinematography.
Love the Ice Age movie series.

If you liked the other Ice Age movies, you will enjoy this one. My nephew and I laughed a lot and really enjoyed the 3D effects. The humor was not only aimed at young ones...the adults in the audience had several laugh out loud moments as well. All in all, a good time and a good sequel.

I took my 4 1/2 and 7 year old grandchildren to see Ice Age and we all loved it. We watched it in 3D. That helped make the experience superb. Great day at the movies for all. Go see it.

This was just as good if not better than the first three (3). Also there are added main characters too which added to the depth of this movie. Was just fun seeing the gang again...

Liked the 3D effects but didn't think the 3D was made best use of to enhance the story which.
doesn't measure up to the first movie in the Ice Age series as often happens with sequels. Antics of the nut crazed squirrel are wonderful as usual. The 'lessons' about the value of family and friends come across well.
The sound level becomes sheer noise at times and can't possibly be good for the ears, no matter what the age of viewers.
Bottom line? Fun for kids but not worth the high price in the theaters.
