I liked it.

A few story elements felt rushed and the male character named Vincent feeling remotely anything for Heather was unrealistic since they'd known each other for less than a day. Also Heather never pukes up a fetus like in the game. Blah. On the plus side, you get to see Pyramid Head kick some butt in 3D.

B-Movie brain freeze

I really enjoyed this movie in 3D! The effects were good, but it was much better in 3D. The characters in the movie were somewhat deeper than I expected and it took a lot of thinking to figure out what was going on and why certain things were happening. I spent the 30 minute ride home talking with my wife about the plot, the character development and connecting the dots. There were bits and pieces from the beginning of the storyline that weren't consistent at the end, but after talking about the main points and plot twists, it happened that way for a reason. Really good movie, but go into it with the intent on paying attention to the characters, what is said and, in particular, who says it.

I would rather play the games than watch this movie. At least I am involved and have fun playing the games. I have 5 games of Silent Hill but I fell asleep watching this movie half way through.

Creepy mind tripping

Silent Hill: Revelation was a good creepy movie but at times I got lost with its plot that for non players of the game franchise may get totally lost with whats happening. Visually the movie is wonderful, felt very much like the games look and feel. There was also a constant creepiness to the film with its grungy look and eerie creatures. I still prefer the original one better, I think many of the aspects that made the first one good got buried beneath the dense story line presented in Revelation. Definitely a must see for fans of the games or the original movie, though it is definitely not for children.

I really enjoyed the movie. I am a big fan of the Silent Hill video games and I like that the movie stayed true to the game. There was suspense and gore in the movie which I couldn't ask for more. I just wish the theater I went to didn't have annoying immature kids talking and laughing throughout the movie. Besides that, the movie was wonderful.
