Amazing

Drugs and depression. Steven Soderbergh takes both head-on. Emily Taylor’s life is on the brink of total collapse after waiting for four years for her husband to get out of prison. Then she encounters Doctor Jonathan Banks. He tries his best to help her. There is copious drug use. Emily’s condition begins to improve, but then tragedy strikes, and it threatens to bring them down. The viewer envies the characters and their glamorous lives, even more so as they destroy themselves. The viewer needs to remind themself that these characters do not exist, and this is a fiction. In the end it is not drug use that is being criticized, but rather the avaricious soul-sucking void, the characters' needs to engulf their surroundings, and the sociopathic culture that made them this way Get more at getthebonesaw.blogspot.com

Side Effect-an excellent Movie

I read the movie reviews before I went to the theater, a secondary and cheap theater, only costing 1.5 dollar, haha. A deal for such an excellent movie. Overall the movie exceeded my expectation. I was late for the picture for half an hour. The movie is thought-provoking. I wish I was not late, and wanting to wait for the next round in this cheap theater. Jude Law is amazing in his role. Channing Tatum was impressive although his role is short. Catherine Zeta-Jones played masterfully. The whole story is thought provoking, and made me to watch it again. A memorable movie to go.

TAUT THRILLER! BEST OF 2013, TO DATE. LETHAL EFFECTS OF PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS.

Steven Soderbergh gifts audiences exactly what they paid for: terrific acting, compelling script, enough twists, spins to cement one’s attention; thrilling, solid, earnest entertainment... “Side Effects” references the healthy/debilitating effects of prescription medication; medication to ward off the black void of depression, derailment of normalcy; viewers, beyond the age of reason, recognize that we inhabit a pill-popping society; stroll the aisles of your local pharmacy, there are over-the-counter drugs for a myriad of ailments: insomnia, irritable bowel syndrome, weight issues, head, back, joint pain; with the swipe of a credit card they can be yours; but a doctor has to prescribe the strong stuff; curing extremes: anxiety, self-destructiveness, catastrophic mood swings; the positive always imbued with the negative, aka “side effects”... THREE & 1/2 STARS!!! ***For full review please visit peneflix (dot) com!!!
