as much as i loathe moore, he does make good points, count on me seeing his next movie about wall street
Just more Anti-government propaganda put out by this hack.. just like the rest of his movies there is no proof to back up his claims.. We don't run a socialist government or a communist regime.. Nationalized health care isn't part of a democracy or capitalism (you know, what America was built on).. So get with the program and if you don't like it or can't can't afford health care, MOVE TO A DIFFERENT COUNTRY (Like Canada where HALF of your earnings go to taxes so that they can have nationalized heath care) OR JUST DEAL WITH IT! I don't know about you, but I enjoy keeping at least 75% of money I earn.. (20%-25% goes to the gov as it is)
Every American should see this movie. What Michael Moore shows us in this film is more scary than any horror flick. Cried many times while watching this film. GO SEE NOW!
While not Moore's best effort, SICKO opened the door further for continued conversation on this important and timely topic. I personally thought the trip to Cuba, while a thoughtful effort and successful in making its point, was too much about Moore. It was not as engaging as BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE but worth seeing. I saw this film with someone who was skeptical about Moore and about the topic. He left the theater with less certainly about his previously held views about both. He was probably not the only one and, with this, the film accomplishes the objective, despite its flaws.
The vast majority of Americans believe everything the government tells us because we are too lazy to research it ourselves.
