I'm Too Lazy To Get Well
The vast majority of Americans believe everything the government tells us because we are too lazy to research it ourselves.

Incredible movie
"They are 50 million people in the US that have no insurance.
These people pray every day so they have no accidents.
These people can die because of simple diseases.
BUT THIS MOVIE IS NOT ABOUT THEM.
THIS MOVIE IS ABOUT YOU,
THE 250 MILION AMERICANS THAT DO HAVE AN INSURENCE,
THE ONES THAT CAME TO AMERICA TO LIVE THE AMERICAN DREAM.
THE ONES THAT, AS YOU DO, THINK THEY ARE SAFE WITH THEIR INSURANCE...
UNTILL THEY AREN'T ANY MORE:
The insurances will find any reason to avoid covering your disease.
By the way...
THIS MOVIE WAS SUPOSED TO BE PLAYED IN 1200 THEATRES BUT THE INSURANCES COMPANIES BOUGHT LIONSGATE (THE DISTRIBUTOR) SO THAT'S WHY IT'S ONLY IN 400 THEATRES...

Sicko
FANTASTIC - EXPOSES GREED AND HOW AMERICANS ARE DYING IN THE MISNOMER THAT WE CALL THE HEALTH CARE INDUSTRY IN THE UNITED STATES.
WHY IS IT PLAYING IN ONLY ONE MOVIE THEATRE IN ALL OF NYC?? HERE'S WHY!
"Mark H. Rachesky, M.D. purchased 33.4% (over 40 Million) shares of Lions Gate stock one week prior to the scheduled opening of ... "Sicko" ... distributed by Lions Gate and the Weinstein Co. ... [A] pre-screening of the film was held on the same day for over 600 people including doctors, health care lobbyists, nurses, political figures and pharmaceutical companies ..."
"Originally, Lion?s Gate had planned a wide release of SICKO in over 1,600 theaters nationwide June 29, 2007 but one week prior to the release the number was reduced to a mere 400. This decision was made the same week Dr. Rachesky purchased Lions Gate stock. Could this be pure coincidence?"

Sicko
MIchael Moore does no justice to this important topic. Instead he makes a fool of himself and makes his premise (that health care in the US is not working) unbelievable. A real shame and, as entertainment, a real bore.

Hopefully "Sicko" Will Start a Revolution for National Health Care in the USA.
"Sicko" spells out the many aspects of the failed health support system for the American public. Moore exposes the lack of adequate and affordable health care for (a) poor and unemployed, (b) employers not providing health benefits, (c) retired and elderly people, who often have to choose between medicine and food, (d) middle class families that cannot afford medical insurance for major illnesses or injuries costing often over $100,000, (e) people who have a ?prior condition?, denied insurance, then have to choose between paying for medical costs, or personal bankruptcy.
Moore shows that the causes of this mess are the greedy pharmaceutical and insurance companies with record profits, tolerated by an irresponsible federal government that can not pass national health care for our citizens. Other first-world countries can afford national health care for all their citizens, yet the richest nation cannot apparently afford national health care.
Yes, it is time for a revolution!
