Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows was a great movie. The acting was good on most accounts. The cinematography was decent. Turning fight scenes into slo mo when important (or explosive) things occur was a great idea - it made them much more cool. A lot of great intelligent things happened - along with plot twists, there are some great book-based things that add to the validity of the story. In Summary: if you liked the first, you'll like the second.

Wow, what an awesome film! It totally amazes me how Robert Downey, Jr can play such a complex character so well. Sherlock Holmes is like a "bi-polar" personality. He's hot then he's cold but he's absolutely brillant!! Many funny parts to the film. Jude Law is also perfect as Dr Watson. They make a great team. It is very intense at times and is one wild ride! Keep up if you can. The train scene was great!

Movie moved way too slow. It just seemed to drag, like a lead balloon. This was a "SLEEPER" and I mean you could fall asleep. Script seemed to lack energy. This sequel doesn't come close to the 1st SH. Save your $$$ and wait for it to come out on DVD. I'm wondering if it was in 3D, if that would of helped.

So the guy that plays Moriarty has always creeped me out, whether on CSI or anything else, but at least he makes a good psycho. I loved this movie though. I would totally go see it again if I had the money XD

I wasn't a fan of the first Sherlock Holmes movie starring Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law. I found it too dumb and focused on action for my tastes. It's not that I don't like action but Sherlock Holmes is supposed to be super-smart and the previous movie might as well have been a Jean Claude Van-Damme movie for all that Sherlock Holmes used his brain. I found this one a slight improvement, mainly because the scenes between Holmes and Moriarty make up for the film's other flaws--particularly the very poorly directed action scenes which are high on gimmicks and low on actual excitement. In the action scenes department this does not compare favorably with Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol, to put it mildly. But it does function passably well as a Sherlock Holmes movie (unlike the first one) and is worth seeing once.
