Better In Theaters
by
When Shaun of the Dead came out in 2004, I was living in Germany and could not see it at the theaters. So, the first time I saw it was on DVD, and quickly became a cult follower. Ever since then, I have either watched it on DVD or Comedy Central. The story is based around two best friends, who wake up hungover, to the zombie apocalypse. They first have to get to Shaun's mother and step-father, and then his recently ex girl friend and her flatmates. The idea was to get some place safe, have a few drinks, be able to smoke and let this whole thing pan out. They decided to go to the local Tavern: The Winchester. In Getting there, they must deal with zombies, fences, and pretending to be zombies. Seeing it at the Egyptian theater was truly spectacular, and really made the movie experience that much better. I laughed at all the quirky little jokes throughout the movie; the same jokes I laugh at every time I see this movie. I recommend this movie to everybody.
