    Seven Psychopaths: Spiritual Fulfillment

Sing praises to the heavens, Hallelujah!

I?ve had precious few religious experiences outside of bedroom where I?ve called out our Lord and Savior?s name. And that, brothers and sisters, is too damned bad.

Thankfully Seven Psychopaths has filled my soul with the delight of having lived a pious life. I can safely, and in all the hyperbole of a God-fearing fit, say that this movie is absolutely brilliant. You will laugh. You will cry. You will come out on the other side a more pure being. This film is 109 minutes of entertainment perfection.

There is a fever, a hot, hot fire, burning at the core of my very being, that I owe to Martin McDonagh. Bless you, brother. Bless your golden heart.

A fun movie for an intelluctual

    by

I'm not going to lie, if you're not the brightest or used to following randomness this movie may not be for you. It definitely had some strange and unexpected twists, but for what it was worth, it had a good storyline, the characters were well developed, the twists completely catch you off guard. It's a great story. Not a movie for kids, obviously, but it is something that can be enjoyed, even with large groups of people.

I thought it was great. Woody Harrelson as a mafioso, priceless. If just for that it was worth it. Christopher Walken plays a great part as he always does, and Colin Farrel was great and I normally don't like him, but he was very funny.

    Waste of money and time!!!

    by

Other than being able to listen to Collin Farrell's sexy voice, this movie was the ultimate boredom. Failed to capture the interest of myself or my friends. Funniest part of the movie was the looks from the dog.

    Original Delivered

Loved how original it was. Every member of that ensemble cast delivers! Notably Linda Bright Clay who pulled at my heart strings and had me on the edge of my seat.

    Layers

This movie has layers. Not like an Ogre but still very complex. If you liked 'The Usual Suspects', 'Clay Pigeons', 'Fargo' you will like Seven Psychopaths.

An Irish screenwriter and his best friend writing a movie script called.. Seven Psycopaths. It's strange, with people acting true to the characters they're playing but also straying away from what you'd expect from those characters. Just when you think you have a handle on the story a psychopath throws in a monkey wrench and you're lost again.

Everyone turned in a stellar performance. Christopher Walken played a role that was a little more subdued than usual but characteristically odd. Woody Harrelson always makes me laugh even when he's a cold-blooded killer, and Sam Rockwell is probably the most interesting player in the story. He is, without doubt, one of the best character actors alive. Always different and very invested in his role.

    A definite Must See.

Great movie. Christopher Walken had me laughing through the whole film.

This film was Quentin Tarantinoesque. Very funny and violent at the same time. Worth the price of admission.

    7 psychopaths

It's hard for me to find a movie to enjoy anymore. The formulated approach to films have made them boring and predictable. 7 Psychopaths does not fall into the boring predictable pattern. it is very dark and funny. Well acted and casted. It was a great way to enjoy 2 hours.

    An original, funny movie

    by

This odd film, full of side stories and strange, interesting characters, was enjoyable through and through. It both lampoons and embodies the crime drama genre, keeping a fast pace throughout, complete with plot twists and showdowns. I recommend it if you enjoyed adaptation (a lot of self-reference in here)) and Mcdonagh's other films, such as In Bruges, though it's not as laugh-out-loud funny.

    Ever Date A Psychopath?

Attention all ladies - see this movie! The title peeked my interest so I first read all about the psychology of psychopaths beforehand. A little fact for you - statistically three out out of ten are psychopaths! I also previewed the trailers to see what I was about to see. This movie was enlightening and also entertaining but definitely not a movie for children or teenagers. I expected the story to be somewhat funny but I was surprised on how superbly the screenplay was written. While my friends thought it was dark because of the violance, you had to laugh at the absurdity of the situations and scenes. The acting by Colin Farrell and Sam Rockwell was so good and as for Christopher Walken - one powerful performance! Loved how it was directed; had me wondering throughout the movie - kudos to Director Martin McDonagh. Great work of art for all involved.

It was different from the normal predictable movies. Very strange and funny. Characters are pretty cold hearted which is fun in this type of movie, and there's plenty of over the top violent scenes. I'm glad I went and you will be too.

Not what you expect, and good!

    by

I must admit, I got the impression that this movie would be somewhat of a streamlined , dialogued laden comedy with very little focus on an actually noteworthy story. Well.....some could make the case thats exactly what it was but i left theater utterly impressed with the execution on this movie. Of course Walken, Harrelson deliver as only they can, but the performance of Sam Rockwell arguably was the most outstanding. The story of Seven Pyschopaths is broken in two parts one centered around a Author with a drinking problem trying desperately to find some fresh ideas to tell the story of his book (Seven Pyschopaths). He often plays the characters of the book out in his head leadinfg to very entertaining cut scenes and stories. The other parts centers amusingly around the pyschopathic crime boss(Harrelson) trying to track down his lost dog who fittingly finds her way into the arms of of two two timers Walken and Rockwell. Funny as hell and deifinitely keeps your attention. Go see it.
