    SEVEN = Perfect 10

    by lugubriousthespian

    David Fincher's dark, atmospheric, genius-serial-killer-on-a-rampage thriller keeps getting better and better with each viewing. Certainly in light of all these pale imitations like the SAW franchise which are just gory freak shows for those who get off on torture porn. Here Fincher enlists a top-notch cast #1. You don't get much better than Morgan Freeman. His senior homicide detective is a note-for-note flawless execution of a performance which seems to emanate from his very soul as he takes brash young novice Pitt under his wing to snare this madman who we all know by now is played by the wonderfully versatile Kevin Spacey. The clues lead both men through many puzzling episodes as the killer seems to be intent on basing his diabolicism on the SEVEN DEADLY SINS. The climax is an unforgettable morality tale which pits good and evil right up along side each other! Amazingly well done thriller in every respect. Rent this one again or better yet - add it to your collection!! ;)

    Deeply Scary, Intense, Awesome Movie

    by thesilentcat4

    I would like to give a great pat on the back to the actor who played the murderer, giving his name will give away the surprise. This was chilling. Intense. A piece of art. And as those kids say, finga-lickin-good, if you know what I mean ;). Not only did I sit afterwards this masterpiece of murder and remembering the aftermath of a psychopath killer, who by the way planned his crimes with ingenious, was the best work of horror I've ever seen. I mean, Saw got nothing on this, believe me. Brad Pit and Morgan Freeman make the show as the two cops who are just as real as can be, and in the end, still as real as they can be. Human attitude and not able to control your emotions in difficult situations make the movie nd gives the movie its reality. Spectacular plot with the heart pounding moments and the moments where you wanna cry and laugh with insanity and rage in your heart as in the movie, but then you realize your in the audience and you sit back down in awe.

    GREAT MOVIE, go see it

    Se7en Review

    by rocketjsl357

    suspenseful and oppressively moody! but i didn't really get a shock out of the final scene at all - thought it was way too predictable - an unsatisfying conclusion for a very solid movie. however, even though the execution of the end is pretty much the weakness of the film, the lighting and mood continues to be one of Fincher's greatest strengths. (3.5/5 stars)
