The documentary Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf's is so gorgeous & engrossing, it will make you want to rush over to the store in the middle of the night just to stand in front of its windows.

Interesting Insight but Incomplete

Fashionistas, creative types and brand developers will be entertained. Enjoyed the historical anecdotes, the window dressing creative process, the designer discoveries, and the family history in building a formidable luxury department store. Never knew about the "janitors" in the penthouse! However, as interesting as it was, I wish they had included vignettes about the restaurant. I've dined there several times and I'm sure a lot of interesting conversations and deals have been made there, as well as family traditions. Last Valentine's Day, my husband and I sat next to a couple who had been to Bergdorf's for Valentine's Day every year for the past 20 years. And it was also during Fashion Week, so it was a very fashionable crowd and there was a special event in the PDR. And I'm sure the maitre d' has even more wonderful anecdotes to share. Maybe version 2.0?
