Yes, it could have been worse, but yes it could have been better...maybe, this franchise ran it's course probably half way through the first movie, or at the very least after the second movie. Charlie Sheen was decently funny, but other than that this movie has no real saving grace other than a funny joke here and there. I will never see this movie again, that is for sure.

Typical slap stick comedy. If you like that kind of movie then you'll be ok. My mistake was watching it at 10:50 pm with a headache. My friend was having a hard time staying up and she normally enjoys these kinds of simpleton shows.

This is the fifth in the series that spoofs other movies , in this case , mostly horror films . Ashley and Simon are a married couple that take in their nieces [like in Mama] . Simon works at an ape research facility [like in Rise of the Planet of the Apes] while Ashley is an aspiring ballerina [like in Black Swan] . Terry is Simon's boss and Erica is a friend of Ashley . There are lots of short scenes , all loosely connected to the main story [with different spoofs on Paranormal Activity , Evil Dead , etc.] . There is a spoof of Inception where the actor playing Leonardo DiCaprio really looks like him . There are other cameos of recognizable stars and there is a scene after the credits involving one of them . The laughs were about 70/30 as far as making me laugh [70% funny to 30% dumb] .
It's rated "PG-13" for violence , sexual content [partial nudity] , language and drug material and has a running time of 1 hour & 25 minutes .
I enjoyed it enough to buy it on DVD .

i have been an avid movie fan my entire life. i have only walked out on three movies in 50+ years, and then only after watching at least half the movie in case i might be missing something. i also see humor in every aspect of life. this movie failed at every level. it wasn't the slightest bit funny----there is a point where straight stupid is just not humorous. i walked out of this movie in less than 20 minutes. that tells it all.

I looked forward to seeing this movie thinking that it would be funny. Instead the movie had scenes' making little girls seeming sexual which is a BIG NO!
DO NOT go see this movie with your kids. Our society has enough problems protecting our children from sex predators. The people who made this movie had parts that try to make it seem ok that little kids were acting sexual. I was totally grossed out!!!!
We as tax payers need to step it up and make it very clear that this is not ok.
Not a family movie, Not funny, Not ok.
