It seems they toned down the blood and gore a little bit. The plot was pretty straight forward and one big piece of the jigsaw to be complete. The ending was a complete suprise and I wanted them to elaborate more on it even though you know the outcome of the victim at the end. I will not give it away for those who haven't seen it yet. I honestly believe if this movie does well enough, the Saw franchise has a good foundation to continue making more movies based completely on the ending. The ending is the new beginning. Watch it. Let me know if my review was helpful. Hoffman was very clever this time around and didn't make any mistakes except ONE for you to see at the movies. Enjoy! Great movie but not excellent!

I not a fan of this type of movie. I took my grandson who love's this series of Saw movies.
I must say however, having never seen any of the Saw movies say the first one, I was impressed by the story line. You can keep the gore. Both my grandson (who is now 14 years old) and I think there should be another one made to explain what happen to Bob. I mean he was left in that wharehouse thoothless. Thank you for making a movie that help with my digestion.

I can't wait for this film. The Saw franchise is original and scary. Jigsaw is the Freddy and Jason of today. I am really looking forward to the 3d aspect of it.
