This movie had an amazing story about the creation of Mary Poppins! You must see it! It is not a waste of money or time! I cannot wait to buy it.

Saving Mr. Banks is NOT a children's movie

This was a great movie, but it was not a "kid's" movie. Your children would be bored. However, regardless of how true or fabricated the story is, it was very good. My husband and I both enjoyed it. Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson were both stellar. A nice night out, all in all.

Mary Poppins is one of my earliest movie memories as a child so I was interested in learning more about it. If you love Ms. Poppins and the music of the movie you will enjoy this movie. I especially like Colin Ferrel's performance as an alcoholic father who dearly loves his family.

I do not like Walt Disney very much, so I associated with the PL Travers character very much! My daughter wanted to see this and my husband and I did not want to but it was her turn to pick. We both (husband and I) were pleasantly surprised at how good this movie actually was. I would say if you like action films stay home, it was a bit slow, but as a whole, it was a very good movie.
