The director has shown his audience a cosmic picture of existence. A man of visions and enlightenment. The picture is taken with utmost care and intricacy. Has subtler dimensions to it for those who are able to perceive. A beautiful meditation indeed with the eyes open. In fact an eye opener too. Kudos to the team.

It is not often that an audience sits for 100mins transfixed without a word. This is the first film I have seen in a long time that may have actually altered my perception of the world and how I / we all fit into it. All without any dialog.

It is daunting to choose a resonating scene, they are all meaningful, mesmerizing, memory-binding; but seeing the "inmates" performing in perfect harmony; a pristine Frenchman transform himself from mundane to monster; a single tear descending the luminous cheek of an Asian angel; vast, cinematic landscapes referencing God's and man's omnipotence, magnificence; leaving one with a sense of peace, grace, wonder and awe that filmmakers, taking seven years, have produced a tour de force; unquestionable eminence, destined to reign permanently, in the hierarchy of film masterpieces... FIVE STARS!!!!! For full review please visit peneflix (dot) com!!!

Unusual and Visually Entertaining.

The minimum expectation for a movie of this sort is entertainment and that is unquestionably delivered by this film maker. Beauty being in the eye of the beholder, most will find satisfaction in that regard as well. Some may be impressed by the continuity of the visual, carefully orchestrated to music in such a cohesive manner as to actually deliver a not so subtle message. This is most especially true, given CAREFUL music composition, comparative to the rest of the soundtrack, as delivered about 1hr & 15 in; albeit not everyone agrees with that message, or will be impressed with the creativity of its delivery. Is the film worth the price of a ticket? Yes. Is it an impressive piece of film art? No. This viewer found it akin to the old geography newsreels shown in grade school; albeit, with a bit more impressive soundtrack, yet a subtle agenda to desensitize one to the maker’s attempt at blatant enculturation. Likely, you won't be disappointed but don't count on it.

this being the second film from the director is incredible. the first film Bakara was inspiring and flowed well this one flowed a little less well, but is in no way distracting from the beauty and wonder that is our planet and our lives on this planet. a true wonder and worth every cent spent to see it on a big screen.
