The good news about Nicholas Sparks is that you know you'll get an interesting and well told story. My wife and I enjoyed Safe Haven and would recommend it as a good date movie.

Great movie. I read the book before I went to see it. It follows very closely to the book I thought. I wanted to write a review because even my husband enjoyed the movie which isn't always the case when seeing a "chick flick". It had enough to keep his attention.
The scenery is so beautiful in the movie we are considering a trip to some of the towns where it was filmed.

This movie was okay. It was almost predictable. But with that being said I loved it. Everyone should see it. The acting was great, loved the location of filming. It starts out very slow but once it picks up it is good. It was a good PG13.

Go see it. Don't listen to the critic's review. I don't get it at all, but then I never do.
How could you not like this movie?

It was a fantastic movie, not cliche or cheesy and contains adorable parts that even the bitter single girl finds herself awing over. Not a typical love story, but one that shows the reality of relationships, how messy they can be, but how there is hope and love that can be found. There is a ridiculous plot twist in the last 30 seconds of the movie, which may change your outlook on the entire movie itself--however, aside from those last 30 seconds, the movie was absolutely incredible. The plot twist doesnt change the love story--but may make you question your own sanity or the sanity of the character. Which is why the critics most likely hated it! HA
