Almost as good as being at the concert

The film was very well done and the performance was extraordinary. I have never seen so many air drummers and air guitarists outside of an actual concert. Good crowd and a lot of cheering and clapping. Well done to say the least.

Great music but cinematography needed some work

RUSH performed beautifully as they always do and the orchestra enhanced the show for the Clockwork Angels songs. The two things that I thought could have been improved on were that the volume on the orchestra could not compete with Alex's guitar and got washed out by it and the cinematography was too choppy. There were too many camera cuts and they came too fast. It was annoying. The extra behind the scenes material at the end of the performance was a nice addition and I enjoyed the interviews with the band and the orchestra performers. The Gnomes were funny, especially the two at the end of the movie.

I really enjoyed the chance to see the Clockwork Angels concert again. But the best part of this movie was the second half. The interviews were funny, and it was great to get a look at some of the stuff that happens backstage. Like others, there were some theater issues. But overall it was well worth the price of the ticket.

Rush is amazing and deserves better

The video was a very typical concert video and not at all what I expected. It was poorly edited and very distracting instead of enhancing the experience. Having seen Rush a few times over the years I can tell you that you are always in awe of seeing them live. That was not captured in this video at all. In fact it did the exact opposite. Most of it appeared to have been shot with an old iPhone (shaky and grainy image) then spliced together with very predictable and average shots from "professional" cameras. The result was inconsistent and really didn't make this video special at all. A real shame as I said because if they had done it right and captured the amazing skill and magic of a live Rush concert it would have been amazing in the Imax format...they really missed the mark. Rush will always be amazing but this video was only average.
