Boring, stupid, absurd plot, terrible acting. This dreadful film sucked the charm out of the normally charismatic Justine Timberlake and Ben Affleck, leaving them to flounder through a nonsensical screenplay. Other than blackmail, I cannot imagine what convinced them to act in this film. Not that they both haven't been in some terrible films, but this one makes "Friends with Benefits" look like "Citizen Kane". I can usually find at least one redeeming feature in a movie that keeps me minimally interested, but Runner Runner lacked even that. I stayed through to the end only because I had been bored into a mindless torpor leaving me unable to muster the energy to rise from my seat and exit the theater. Unless you enjoy watching people sweating through insipid scene after insipid scene, do not see "Runner Runner".

All actors have been better in other movies. Plot was cool. Kept me entertained but that's about it. With the price of movies nowadays, I want to be wowed. Wait for home viewing.

Movie had a good plot and was excellent. I very much enjoyed the action scenes and the main characters themselves. If you are contemplating on whether or not to go see it you must go!!! No regrets.

Do not listen or believe what the critics are saying. I was shocked to see so many negative reviews before coming to see this movie, and you know what, it was a great flick to watch on a Saturday afternoon. You have a man who needs to make money to make tuition for his college, and he will do what it takes to make it happen. He will meet up with a man who can make his dreams come true, but at the same time can destroy them as well. There will be twists and turns everywhere you go, and the ending was pretty good as well. Go see it, it is worth the price of admission. This will not win any awards, but I really liked it. GO SEE IT!!!!!!!!!!

Justin Timberlake, in my opinion is actually a great actor. I thought he held his own nicely against Ben Affleck and actually, at times I found him a more enjoyable character. This movie isn't worthy of any awards, no. But it's a good movie, albeit predictable in some.. well most parts. We enjoyed the pace of the movie and we felt the acting was good enough to surpass the fact that there wasn't some deep meaning or deep plot.
We found irony in the filming locations that we immediately recognized and how they claimed to be elsewhere yet tied it in together in a funny way later on. If you want to see a "good" movie and don't feel like thinking too much, this movie is worth it in our opinion.
