This was just a good movie to watch, it was intense and the cast was stellar. Justin Timberlake and Ben Affleck played well off each other and both were perfectly casted. This was a nice drama and Costa Rica is perfect location for this type of movie.

Low key acting but we enjoyed it

We go to a movie every week and sometimes there just isn't much to pick from. I had read the reviews on Runner Runner and most said the acting was "mailed in" and there wasn't much to the movie. We agree with that for the most part, Ben was low key the entire movie but it did fit the character, and Justin kept his "I'm worried and confused" look the entire movie. There isn't a lot of action, the plot is fairly predictable, but at least it kept us interested. But in the end we both enjoyed the movie and it was a good way to spend a few hours.

I saw Runner Runner with my teeange son and we both liked it. We thought the plot was interesting and the movie was entertaining. It was rated R but there wasn't over the top sex/violence.

Nice Twist

Not sure if this was based or inspired by true events but it starts off very unrealistic (who flies down to an under developed country to confront someone they have been cheated by) ...however, keeps you entertained and easy to follow despite all of the tecnical computer gadget terms used. Easy to see the money and temptation and greed aspects here. Had a nice twist at the end that leaves you a little taken a back which is nice in my opinion. I always like a nice little surprise at the end. Definitely worth seeing. Ben Affleck is pretty good as a serious actor. Justin T. is always amazing! The 2 made the movie worth while.

Where's the action?

The last movie I REALLY wanted to walk out of was Catwoman. Runner Runner was that bad. I almost left a few times - it was just boring. Not much action, story was boring - it could have been such a better movie. I can't even recommend this one for DVD or even "watch it on TV in 5 years."
