I totally related to the dilemma of aging and memory loss - as I experienced that with my parents. Can be a tear jerker at the end, but many funny quips throughout.
Will see it again.

The film has a wonderfully understated, straightforward, slightly edgy sense of humor. The nicely developed characters of both Robot and Frank give the film a universal appeal, but the film also has its share of subtle observations about aging, memory, family, and technology. Frank Langella's performance is superb. Peter Sarsgaard's robot is both very human and very empty at the same time ("I told you, Frank, I'm not a person.") Exactly the kind of high-quality flick that I really wish we could see more of nowadays.

This movie was superbly acted. Liked the cameo from the dad from Suburgatory. Hated the little geek boy philanthopist. I guess he did his job. A very enjoyable evening at the movies.

Robot and Frank was charming and funny, with believable characters, good acting, and a well written script. I took my 12 year old son and he enjoyed it just as much as I did.
