Don't waste your money seeing Robocop on IMAX; the regular screen will be just fine. Or, just wait for it to come out on DVD. The movie just doesn't have enough action.

Went to see it in IMAX, the graphics were really good, story line was kinda boring, alot like the origional with computerized graphics, considering what they are able to do today with computer graphics, I was not overly impressed.

Remakes to movies you love are tough to rate sometimes, but if you look past your prejudices, you'll realize how much of a great movie this is! Joel Kinnaman is awesome as Alex Murphy. Loved how he strolls into the police station in the beginning with F-U attitude he has on The Killing:) Then as RoboCop, he is great when showing how painful it is to see what he's become and how tough it is to deal with his family. The movie itself is awesome, plot is solid, story telling is tight, action scenes are amazing.

Weak reboot

It doesn't bring anything new to the table. Story is different and a weak. The casting choices weren't exactly the best. Sure, Samuel L Jackson had his moment at the end. The ending was crap the design of Robocop him self was crap. They should have stuck with the grey outside, black inside. Instead of all black. ED-209 was cool, good affects on it. That's really it, wait until it comes on to TV to watch it.

What a great action movie

I really enjoyed this reboot that takes the main outline of the original but ads an updated storyline that is very relatable with what's going on today (safety, war, morality of technology, end of life, 24 hour newscycle) with out society. The beginning explains the how RoboCop is created and how it would emotionally effect someone and than it gets right into the action once he's in Detroit on the streets.
