I took my 7-year old daughter to see the movie, there were a lot of great elements appealing to boys or girls, the story line was pretty entertaining as well and moved right along. We found ourselves laughing at the little elves/ gnomes, they added a very humorous backdrop. There were touching moments as well, the story encouraged to look at the magic and inner child wonder inside all of us, and see what is truly important. Lastly, the animation was very well done, visually stimulating on the big screen. We really enjoyed this movie!

They kind of stuffed a bunch of plot into a movie but the material was probably more appropriate for a mini-series. Hence, the brisk through stories that combine in a not-so-good manner but it definitely worked for my family crew. I'd give it a 2.5/5 but my family is probably at/above 4 our of 5. My wife was even mad that I didn't really like it much. Oh, well. Your call!

The makers of this movie gave themselves a chance to reinvent those iconic childhood characters and did a great job at that. Every single character is interesting and extremely lovable. Take the kids for sure!!! Beautiful art and animation as well.

What a great story of character. My kids loved it as much as mom and dad did!!
It's not necessarily Christmas but I can see it being a huge part of future Christmas celebrating

This was a fun movie for kids, remained appropriate throughout, and and was moving for parents since it reminds us of the wonder of being a child and helps us remember to enjoy our kid's innocence for as long as it lasts,
