    Watch it in IMAX 3D

    Amazing to watch this movie in IMAX 3D. My first preference is always IMAX!!!

    A good movie but a bit intense

    Rise of the Guardians is a very well-made movie and my 9 year old thoroughly enjoyed it. I did, however, feel that parts of the film were a bit intense for my 7 year old.

    What a terrible expierence

    Everything except the movie was awful about this transaction. First I ordered from Fandango for an I max movie in 3d which they charged me for, when I got to the theater I was told that it wasn't being shown in IMAX. So when I called Fandango to tell them and get a slight refund of $2.00 that I was overcharged I was originally told that the movie was most definitely being shown in IMAX. I had to spend about 15 minutes educating the idiotic rep until she believed me that it wasn't available. then she tries to tell me that the cost was correct to which I advised her that this was a matinee and the charge shouldn't be anymore than 9.50 in total. Finally she agreed that this was correct and told me that I would be getting my refund. About 30 minutes late I received an email saying no refund would be coming no other explanation. I emailed twice to find out why and only after threatening to post bad press did I receive a call back to tell me that I wouldn't get a refund. Simply awful

    I Believe!

    Rise of the Guardians is an epic undertaking to weave together the fictional characters of our childhood and provide them with purpose.

    As with most animated movies, the plot is simple and predictable; however, the creativity of this film comes across as very fresh.

    This movie is fast paced with plenty of action and a spattering of funny jokes and visuals. Santa's elves were absolutely hilarious. Rise of the Guardians fills in the blanks of why Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, and the Sandman do what they do and how they are able to get around the globe quickly enough to reach so many children.

    Rise of the Guardians will appeal to kids and adults... boys and girls. Older kids will probably enjoy it the most. For younger kids, there is mild violence and the night mares (literally dark horses) might come across as scary. This is a great movie for the Holidays.

    Contrary to elizzy0407's review, there isn't anything that even remotely approaches a sex scene.
