Went to see the movie with my family at Carmike. It was a late show and we had the theater almost to ourselves. However, the coziness and the fact that there was no crowd only enhanced our experience. The place is clean, the people friendly, the picture and sound excellent. The movie is appealing to all generations. We loved it and will definitely make sure to see it again. Teaches some good points about life worth values!

I would say this is a Christmas movie but it takes place about two or three days before Easter. The movie is very well done and the kids loved it!

OK But....

My son (17) and his friends loved it, especially the Russian Santa with the tattoos but my husband and I thought it was just OK. Maybe I'm over thinking but some explanation of why the "Guardians" look completely different from how most people see them in their mind's eye would help, Also why was the Boogie Man not called the Boogie Man but called Pitch Black? Needed more story development. That said, teenagers love it and the fact that it was short was a plus

Absolutely delightful! My six year old laughed through the entire movie. It manages to incorporate all childhood magical characters into a worthy story. We will buy it on DVD so we can see it again and again.

For a group ages 7 - 50+ years old to be able to make reference to the jokes as well as special effects - the movie effectively creates a fairy tale with a nod to the real world. Put our group in the":holiday spirit" - lovely family film
