Best Animated Film in Years

I thought this movie was going to be stupid and childish, and am a very negative critic when it comes to about 99% of American animated films. RotG, has completely taken my breath away. The 3D was extremely tastefully done, and is well worth the extra ticket cost. The story flows perfectly from beginning to end, and the characters are highly relatable. If you see no other movie this year see this!

A Good movie with good and bad against each other.

I really liked the movie. It's so much better than the animated movies I've seen before. There was the good vs. bad in the movie and it showed about working together is the right thing to do. The 3-D effects were pretty good, too. I'm really glad that I went to see it with my brother and his son. It was a fast moving movie, too, which is usually really good with kids.

Loved it!

Great message and my 8 year old granddaughter laughed and we both cheered for the Guardians and boo'd the bogey man. I' m glad the 3 year old.didnt go Parts with black mean horses etc may have scared her and she may not have understood the great messages

worth 3D

Definitely worth seeing in 3D. I saw this both ways and 3D was for once better.
This movie was beautifully created. The colors were superb and the voices fit well. At times this movie was sad and touching but was also filled with laughs. Great great movie! One to add to the DVD collection. I'll definitely watch it again.

Now 2nd Favorite Christmas Movie

The graphics were great! The story was great! Santa's tattoos are awesome! But, it might be a little scary for age 9 and under.

Better than I expected

I wasn't excited about seeing this movie, but it was a lot more fun than I expected and the kids loved it. it's well done in terms of the drawing and animation.

I LOVED IT

Hello! Here's a review from someone who isn't a parent.
I think this is as close as you can get to a pure kid's movie. Other family type CG movies may be targeted at children, but this one was made for children. Were I younger, I'd become a believer as well.
And the animation! Oh, I went to go see this for the animation. It was gorgeous. I could see the skin texture on their faces when they zoomed in. The fight scenes were flashy, but had a certain, believable weight to it as well sometimes.
And the homes of the Guardians were just stunning. I loved how they interpreted these characters, how they gave them rules and means of operation that made sense. If you like animated movies, this is a must see. There's such a variety in environments and characters and they're all beautifully done.
There may be fangirls swooning over Frost, but there's a magic to this story that's specifically meant for kids.I found myself remembering why I love fairy tales so much.

This was a good movie.

Way to go Dreamworks

I LOVED this movie. The promise of Jack Frost, a Russian Santa, and Australian Easter Bunny lured me in and once I was there they had me. The movie was really good and they took it to places I didn't expect. Dreamworks usually does a good job and for me this was just another job well done.

Great Movie

I thought this movie was wonderful. It was funny at times and had a great story! Must see if you love animated films that aren't stupid.
